🏛️ Village History

Dalanwas has a rich and proud history. The village settlement journey began from Pitampura (Delhi), then moved to Chandaliya, and finally reached its present location.

In Samvat 1454, the village was established by Daluram.

In Samvat 1464, Parvati became Kuwari Sati, symbolizing supreme sacrifice and devotion.

🕉️ Spiritual & Religious Heritage

A native saint, Savant (Savantia), attained spiritual greatness through deep meditation and penance. He is worshipped as Shri Shri 1008 Siddh Shri Baba Sawanth Nath.

Temples dedicated to Baba Sawanth Nath are located in Salas, Bhirod, and Pralnwas, attracting devotees from across the region. Baba took Samadhi in Dalanwas, making the village a sacred spiritual center.

🤝 Social Harmony

Dalanwas is a symbol of unity and brotherhood. Communities including Jats, Brahmins, Sunars, Nais, Khatis, Kumhars, Chhippis, Jogis, Dhanaks, and Chamars live together peacefully, respecting each other’s traditions and values.

The village is equipped with essential facilities such as GGS School, Sports Ground, Public Library, Fawara Chowk, contributing to education, recreation, and social development.

Late Colonel Peerdan Lamba remains a source of immense pride for the village. Even today, many residents serve as Colonels, Majors, IPS officers, and have been honored with military medals.

Numerous villagers serve in the Indian Army, Haryana Police, Delhi Police, education sector, and other government services.

Farmers of Dalanwas earn their livelihood through livestock rearing and vegetable farming. Many villagers are also engaged in private jobs, independent businesses, and overseas employment with reputed organizations.

🏛️ गांव का इतिहास

गांव डालनवास का इतिहास अत्यंत गौरवशाली है। इसकी बसावट पहले पितमपुरा (दिल्ली), फिर चंडालिया और अंत में वर्तमान स्थान पर हुई।

सम्वत 1454 में डालूराम जी द्वारा गांव की स्थापना की गई।

सम्वत 1468 में पार्वती ने कुंवारी सती होकर त्याग और बलिदान का अनुपम उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया।

🕉️ धार्मिक एवं आध्यात्मिक विरासत

गांव के ही निवासी सावंत उर्फ़ सावंतिया कठोर तप के कारण महान सिद्ध पुरुष बने और श्री श्री 1008 सिद्ध श्री बाबा सावंतनाथ के नाम से पूजे जाते हैं।

बाबा सावंतनाथ के मंदिर सालास, भीरोड़ और प्रलनवास में स्थित हैं। बाबा ने डालनवास में समाधि ली, जिससे गांव एक पवित्र धार्मिक केंद्र बना।

🤝 सामाजिक समरसता

डालनवास सामाजिक भाईचारे का प्रतीक है। यहां जाट, ब्राह्मण, सुनार, नाई, खाती, कुम्हार, छिप्पी, जोगी, धानक, चमार सभी जातियां आपसी प्रेम और सहयोग से रहती हैं।

गांव में जीजीएस स्कूल, खेल मैदान, पुस्तकालय, फव्वारा चौक जैसी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं, जो सामाजिक विकास में सहायक हैं।

गांव के स्वर्गीय कर्नल पीरदान डालनवास की शान रहे हैं। आज भी गांव के लोग कर्नल, मेजर, आईपीएस जैसे उच्च पदों पर कार्यरत हैं और सेना पदकों से सम्मानित हैं।

अनेक ग्रामीण भारतीय सेना, हरियाणा पुलिस, दिल्ली पुलिस और शिक्षा विभाग में सेवाएं दे रहे हैं।

गांव के किसान कृषि, पशुपालन और सब्जी उत्पादन के माध्यम से अपनी आजीविका चलाते हैं। कई युवा विदेशों में अच्छे पैकेज पर कार्यरत हैं, वहीं अनेक लोग निजी नौकरी और स्वयं का व्यवसाय कर रहे हैं।

🏰 Madhogarh Fort

Madhogarh Fort is a historic hill fort located atop Madhogarh Hill in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana, offering stunning views of the surrounding Aravalli landscape. It was built in the first half of the 18th century by Madho Singh I and played an important role in regional defenses and trade routes.

The fort’s Hindu Rajput architecture includes thick stone walls and bastions, reflecting its strategic significance in earlier times. Although partly in ruins, restoration efforts are underway to preserve its heritage and attract tourists.

Visitors often enjoy panoramic landscapes, historical exploration, and rural cultural experiences around the fort. The nearby hills and old structures make Madhogarh a unique destination for history lovers and nature enthusiasts

💧 Pila Johad

Pila Johad is a traditional water reservoir near Dalanwas, known for its unique healing legend. It is believed that people suffering from jaundice who bathe in the Johad recover from the disease, but the miracle only works for visitors from outside the village.

The Johad is surrounded by lush greenery and serves as a serene spot for nature lovers. The area also features beautiful Sani and Shiva temples, where devotees come to pray and seek blessings.

This combination of spiritual significance, natural beauty, and local legends makes Pila Johad an important and unique place for visitors and pilgrims alike.

🕉️ Baba Sawanth Nath Jagran & Bhandara

The Baba Sawanth Nath Jagran & Bhandara is a vibrant spiritual festival in Dalanwas, attracting devotees from nearby villages and towns. This event is dedicated to the revered Baba Sawanth Nath and celebrates his teachings of devotion, peace, and community service.

Main Events: The festival features nightly bhajans (devotional songs), a procession with Jhaki (tableau) depicting historical and mythological stories, and a grand Bhandara (community feast) where food is served to hundreds of devotees free of cost.

Timing & Location: Held annually in Dalanwas, this Jagran usually takes place during auspicious nights according to the Hindu calendar, bringing together communities in worship, celebration, and cultural exchange.

The event not only reinforces the spiritual heritage of the village but also strengthens social bonds, showcasing the unity and devotion of Dalanwas residents.

🕉️ बाबा सावंतनाथ जागरण और भंडारा

बाबा सावंतनाथ जागरण और भंडारा डालनवास में आयोजित एक भव्य धार्मिक उत्सव है, जिसमें आसपास के गांवों और शहरों से भक्तजन शामिल होते हैं। यह कार्यक्रम पूज्य बाबा सावंतनाथ को समर्पित है और भक्ति, शांति और सामाजिक सेवा के संदेश को बढ़ावा देता है।

मुख्य आयोजन: इस उत्सव में रात भर भजन, झाकियों (ऐतिहासिक और पौराणिक कथाओं के दृश्य प्रदर्शन), और विशाल भंडारे का आयोजन होता है, जिसमें सैकड़ों भक्तों को निःशुल्क भोजन प्रदान किया जाता है।

समय और स्थान: यह जागरण वार्षिक रूप से डालनवास में आयोजित होता है और हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार शुभ रातों में होता है। यह आयोजन पूजा, उत्सव और सांस्कृतिक मेलजोल का अवसर प्रदान करता है।

🙏 Dadi Sati Mela, Dalanwas

The Dadi Sati Mela is held in Dalanwas (Mahendragarh, Haryana) after Holi (Dulendi) and is an important local festival. People who do not celebrate Holi instead worship Dadi Sati, who is similar to Rani Sati from Rajasthan and revered far and wide, especially during the month of Bhadon.

Location: Dalanwas and Gadadwas villages, Mahendragarh district, Haryana.
Timing: After Holi, on Dulendi day, Holi is not celebrated here, but the Dadi Sati Mela is organized.

Story of Rani Sati Dadi: This fair is dedicated to Rani Sati Dadi from Rajasthan, a woman who performed Sati after her husband's death. She was born as Narayani and is associated with the Mahabharata era, symbolizing devotion and dedication.

Main Attractions: The fair is grand, with devotees visiting the temples of Dadi Ji. Cultural events such as wrestling (dangal) and other local festivities are also organized.

🙏 दादी सती मेला, डालनवास

डादी सती मेला डालनवास (महेंद्रगढ़, हरियाणा) में होली (दुलेंडी) के बाद लगता है और यह स्थानीय लोगों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक उत्सव है। जहाँ होली नहीं मनाई जाती, वहां दादी सती की पूजा होती है, जो राजस्थान की रानी सती दादी के समान हैं और दूर-दूर से लोग इनकी पूजा करते हैं, खासकर भादो मास में।

स्थान: हरियाणा के महेंद्रगढ़ जिले के डालनवास और गादड़वास गाँवों में।
समय: होली के बाद, दुलेंडी के दिन होली नहीं मनाई जाती, बल्कि दादी सती मेला आयोजित किया जाता है।

रानी सती दादी की कहानी: यह मेला राजस्थान की 'रानी सती दादी' को समर्पित है, जो अपने पति की मृत्यु के बाद सती (आत्मदाह) हुई थीं। इनका जन्म नारायणी के रूप में हुआ और ये महाभारत काल से जुड़ी हैं, भक्ति और समर्पण का प्रतीक हैं।

मुख्य आकर्षण: यह मेला भव्य होता है, जहां भक्त दादी जी के मंदिरों में पूजा-अर्चना करते हैं। कई स्थानों पर दंगल (कुश्ती) और अन्य सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी होते हैं।
